error it is important for the practical nurse to follow the
first five rights of medication before administration and
the other five at bedside. An example is when I had to
administer Tylenol pills during lab practice, I made sure
that all my five rights were done before I got to my

knowledgeable about the type of medication I was
administering to my client and also provided me with a
foundation about that medication. When I entered the
clients room I was able to educate my client why I was
administering that medication and when they chose to
refuse the medication I knew that it was one of their ten
