RefugeesintheMiddleEastfromISIS
Over42.5millionpeoplehavebeendisplacedbypersecutionintheircountry,
15.2millionofthemarerefugees,sittingonahot,dustyground,sandstormsmaking
theirwayintopeople'smouths,causingthemtocoughcontinuously(Refugeeand
AsylumSeekersFactsandFigures).Everyonesmouthisdryduetotheextremeheat.
Theyareallinextremeneedofwater,foodandsufferfromstarvation.Theirstomachs
grumbleasloudasthunder.Theirhomeshavebeendemolishedintopieces,withan
ISISflagsailingovertherubbish.ManyinnocentciviliansintheMiddleEasthavehad
theirhomesdestroyedbyISIS,thereforecausingthemtofleetoneighboringcountries
likeTurkey,Lebanon,andIsrael,somediedtrying.ThisessaywilldiscusswhoISISis,
thecausesofthisproblem,wayswecansolveitandwhyitisthebiggestconflictinthe
world.
Firstofall,whatisISIS?ISISstandsforIslamicStateofIraqandSyria.ISISisa
terroristgroupledbyAbuBakralBaghdadi.ISIShasonegoalandonegoalonly:toset
theworldupasapureIslamicstate,althought
heoverwhelmingmajorityofthe
worldsMuslimsfindISISanditsversionofIslamrepulsive.

livesofciviliansandtakinglovedonesfrominnocents.
Allproblemshavetheirwayofstarting.Inthiscase,thewaythattheMiddle
EasternrefugeecrisisstartedwasISISoccupyingtheirland.Themainwaytheydid
thiswasbydestroyinghomesandblowingthemupwithexplosives.Then,they
officializeditasoccupiedbyplacingtheirflagintheaftermathoftheexplosion.For
example,MediareportshavesurfacedindicatingthattheIslamicStatehasblownup
thehomesof10ChristiansintheNorthernNinevahprovinceofIraq,whileleadinga
humanrightsorganizationhasreportedtheIraqiSecurityForcesburneddownthe
wholecivilianvillagesinIraqlastSeptember.(ISISBlowsUp10ChristianHomes)
SinceISISisdestroyingthehomesofinnocentcivilians,thiscausesthemtoattemptto
fleetoothercountriesliketheU.S.,Israel,andLebanon.(ISIS)

Whileotherpeoplemaybearguingonwhyotherconflictsarethebiggestinthe
world,thisparagraphwillexplainingwhytheISISRefugeeconflictisthebiggestissue
intheworld.ThisconflictjustdoesntaffectpeopleinSyria,orinonecertainplace.This
affectsmultiplepeoplearoundtheworld.Syriansarefleeingtodifferentcountries,which
thenmakesitaglobalproblem.Likeamanwhoaftertwoyearsoflivingin
overcrowdedcampsinJordanandmonthsofinterviewsandsecuritychecks,
36yearoldHussamandhisfamilyweregrantedrefugeestatusintheUnitedStates.(I

thesefactsprovethatthisisthelargestconflictintheworldbecauseitaffectsother
peoplegloballyandithasamassivenegativeimpactonthem.Somanyotherproblems
arestartedwhenrefugeesfleetoothercountries.Forinstance,thecountrycanonly
holdsomanypeople.Ifrefugeescontinuouslyenteracertaincountry,itwillbecome
overpopulated.Thereisalsonotenoughlandforthemtolive,thereforewillbestuck
withoutahome.Furthermore,therefugeesarealsogoingtoneedmoneytoprovide
foodandclothingfortheirfamilies.

Althoughmanysolutionshavehavebeenattempted,manyhavenotworked
becausetherearestillrefugeesexistenttoday.Manysolutionsthathavebeenbrought
upareallreactionary.Buttheybestwaytosolveanyproblemistostartfromtheroot
andkillitfromthere.Insteadof
continuingtoworkaroundtheclocktoprovidecrucial
suppliesstaplefooditems,cleanwater,mattresses,medicine,cookstoves,heaters,
clothing,andmoretofamiliesindesperateneedwecouldtrytogetridofISISfrom
thestart.(Iraqi&SyrianRefugeeRelief)Strategicbombingiskindofeffective,butwe
couldtrytosendoutmessagesthattellpeopletowatchoutforISISpropagandathat
seducepeople,especiallyyoungerpeople,intojoining.Wecandothisbyhavingall
socialmedialikeTwitter,Instagram,andFacebookenforcetheirTermsofUsetotake
downanyISISmaterialthatsupportsviolence.
