Overview
Teachers will participate in a Nearpod via a QR code. This Nearpod will be used to introduce an app that
will increase efficiency and time management in the area of completing Running Records. This app will
reduce errors, support the need for data, and increase the ease of completing the task of Running
Records. The teachers will then be given a poll to determine the effectiveness of this training.

Why is time management important?


How can I collect data that can be used to drive instruction in reading?
How can I reduce errors in calculating reading rates?

Assessment

Diagnostic Assessment Probing questions


Formative Assessment Questions will be asked to ensure understanding as the training is ongoing.
Formative Assessment Application of learning will be observed during the training.
Summative Assessment Teachers will be given a survey to determine the effectiveness of the training.
