FREEDOM
INTRODUCTION
All of us have goals in life. Some people dream with being rich and famous, others with
finding their soulmate and having the perfect family and others with helping the most needed.
We as human beings, have different perspectives and hopes through our lives, but there is one
goal that we all might have in common and that is freedom.

QUESTION AND ANSWER

Why are we so thirsty of freedom? This is a compelling question because sometimes we are
so busy trying to figure life out that we dont even realize that our soul is screaming for freedom.
We are caught up on the everyday routine and we just want to have a break of life. Work, bills,
family, school, social life and society become a load for our lives after we place them at the
center of everything. The answer to a few of the following questions will help us to understand
more about what freedom is, how important should be for our lives, how we can achieve it and
finally, will guide us through the process to get it.
1. What is freedom?
-Freedom is the right to be oneself, to do anything one wants without external influence.
Freedom is having no boundaries or limitations in mind. Is feeling free to be whoever you
want, whenever you want, wherever you want! Freedom is peace in the soul and fullness
in life.
2. What are some things that withhold us from being free?
-There are many things that may be holding us back from finding this self-determination
that we are looking for. The past, for example. We love to look back and regret things that
we did or we did not do and it becomes an obstacle that wont let us look forward.
Another big barrier are mistakes. We believe that we have messed up so many times that
we cant do anything to make it right, we make ourselves feel guilty of it and we get
stuck in the little details that dont matter at all in the future that comes ahead for us.
3. What is The box that we need to get out of?
-The box, how many of us call it, is nothing more than our comfort zone, the monotony
in which we live every single day, the four walls that wont let us see beyond of what we
already know and the fear of trying something new.

4. How can we achieve it?

5. Can material things set us free? What things? Why or why not?
6. Is freedom a personal or collective goal?
7. Why is freedom necessary in life?
8. How long will it take to free oneself?
9. How can we relate Chris McCandless with freedom?
10. What are some things that can serve as therapy for our souls?

SUPPORTING DETAILS
For this project, I want to give a brief concept on the different kinds of freedom that we
can achieve in life and relate them to the movie Into the Wild. I would also like to provide
some steps to go through the process of self-discovering with the end of finding freedom in our
inner selves.
FORMAT
I would love for this assignment to write a Blog in which I can incorporate the answer to
many questions that we all have about freedom.
