Enclosed is information about this unique and very special celebration presented by Northwestern
Mutual and Hotel Syracuse Restoration, LLC.
OVERVIEW
Forever Hotel Syracuse: A Historic Gala is the first time the newly restored hotel will have all of its
ballrooms open for dining and dancing. In addition, a limited number of sleeping rooms are available to
gala guests for overnight reservations. The event will feature three levels of dining service: sit-down
dining in the Grand Ballroom and Empire Room on the 10th floor; food stations in the Persian Terrace off
the Main Lobby; and buffet dining in the Imperial [Finger Lakes] Ballroom. After dinner, all venues open
to all gala guests for music and dancing. Enjoy a diverse selection of wonderful musical entertainment in
each venue and raise a glass to toast the return of the Grand Dame of Downtown Syracuse!

Need a tuxedo for the event? Mens Wearhouse in DeWitt is offering Forever Hotel Syracuse guests
tuxedo rentals for $75, or you can purchase a tuxedo for $300. You will also receive a 20% off coupon for
any regular priced items in the store. $5 of your tux rental or purchase goes to support OHA. Mens

PARKING
Parking is at the Harrison Garage (601-677 S. Warren St.) at the southeast corner of Harrison and
Warren Streets. Entrance is from Harrison Place (two-way) between Harrison Street (one way heading
west) and Adams Street. If traveling west down Harrison St., after crossing Montgomery St. take a left
onto Harrison Place before you reach Warren St. If traveling east down Adams St., after crossing Warren
St. take a left onto Harrison Place.
Parking pricing:
Event self-park (no overnight) - $5
Event valet parking (available at the Onondaga Street entrance to the hotel) - $12
Overnight self-park - $12
Overnight Valet parking - $12
The most paid for parking is $12, excluding tip. Cash only.

Guests with room reservation VIP upgrades receive free overnight Valet parking those with upgrades
should give their name to the valet attendant.

ENTRANCE TO THE HOTEL

There are two entrances available: street level at 500 S. Warren Street (closest to the Harrison Garage),
and street level at 100 E. Onondaga Street, the location for valet parking. Elevators are accessible from
the street level at both entrances.
EVENT CHECK IN
Located at the front desk, Main Lobby level. No tickets will be issued; check in with your name or
company name. You will receive a commemorative key packet with information and a bracelet for entry
to your venue.
HOTEL GIFT ITEMS FOR SALE
Want to take home a Hotel Syracuse souvenir? Throughout the evening, Onondaga Historical
Association will be selling Hotel-related items. Items include a holiday ornament, note cards, mouse
pads, and pre-orders for a book on the history of the Hotel Syracuse, soon to be published by OHA. Cash
or credit cards are accepted. The gift shop will also offer a package check service.
PHOTO BOOTH
For a special Forever Hotel Syracuse Gala keepsake, visit the Premierbooth photo booth in the Main
Lobby. Free digital images and prints are available on site during the event. You can also share your
images with all gala guests. Anyone who submits a photo through the texting platform will be eligible to
win a free one night stay courtesy of the Hotel Syracuse. Details of how to enter will be available at the
booth.
BALLROOM LOCATIONS
Grand Ballroom and Empire Room: Take the Lobby Level elevators to the 10th floor. The Empire Room is
directly in front of you as you exit the elevators. The Grand Ballroom is to the right when exiting the
elevator and at the end of the corridor.
Persian Terrace: On the Lobby Level near the top of the Warren Street stairs.
Imperial/Finger Lakes Ballroom (Forever Hotel Syracuse is the last time this ballroom will be called
Imperial henceforth, it will be known as the Finger Lakes Ballroom). This is located on the Main Lobby
Level along Onondaga Street.
