I am writing to apply for the Traffic Engineer position with your firm, Kimley-Horn after your wife suggested
the same to my wife yesterday. I am a professional Civil Engineer with 6 years of experience mainly in the planning
and design of transportation such as highways, interchanges, streets, bicycle/pedestrian facilities, and their related
drainage/storm water treatment facilities in the U.S., India and Bahrain. In addition to highway design, I am familiar
with the design of drainage facilities, writing project specifications, and conducting QA/QC on final designs.
I took a break in my career to pursue a seminary education and while at seminary, I pursued a nonengineering position briefly as a director of a local Dallas firm serving in the capacity of a Pricing/Business Analyst
role.
