10. Describe the reasons why you want to participate in the program.

I want to participate in this program because I want to experience a new life,

improve my general knowledge, and make new friends. In this program will make
me see the world more clearly about the confronted with challenges in everyday
life that I have never had before. I can enjoy the excitement of living in the host
countries to gain experience, independence and self-confidence. I want to
experience a new life both on flying and voyage which make me so interested and
participate in this program. Furthermore, I want to become a fully responsible
youths as a Cambodian nation to show our culture to the world in widely opening
to let the people know the reputation of Khmer Civilization especially in Angkor
Kingdom that we can see the complex structural buildings are everywhere in the
country. I would like to show the strong handhold of Khmer traditional and custom
to the world such as the way of living, cuisine, architecture, clothing and dancing.
On the other hand, I want to learn more about the connection or relationship with
the people, the leadership skill, and how to do teamwork and collaboration to
achieve the same goal. Then I want to learn the other cultures from different
countries and contribute it to my country for sharing with friends and my
community in the society. In addition, I would like to improve my communication
skill and exchange it with the other people. I want to make a lot of new friends that
will last a life time and build a strong network connection with the host countries
and obtaining different learning styles from different people. Thus, those
awareness which I obtain from them, I am surly take it to complete on my
peremptory to become a successful person. Finally, I want this journey can provide
me to accomplish my educational goals.

11. Describe your expectation of joining the program.

First, I expect to get a strong network connection from the program because
network connection is an extremely important way to become a successful person.
In fact, communication is an influential factor to achieve the goal especially, the
investment of making network is good attitude and characteristic that all youths
must have in order to learn and share with many different topics in the way to
improve their selves as a leader in the future. Second, after successfully of making
network with others, I will have an opportunity to exchange the ideas with them in
order to pursue a higher education. The learning styles, new technique, experiences
are all the best ingredients which is a big investment to improve my quality of life
because each contingent introduces their country from various perspectives with
the aid of videos, slides, leaflets, exhibitions and so on. It consists of Exhibition
and Cultural Show. On the other hand, by transferring the ideas with other
people I will have a broadly knowledge. Those awareness is absolutely as a greater
general knowledge for understanding the environmental and global issues in which
we can share and discuss together to find out the best solutions. Third, I expect to
learn a new language which significantly improve my current skills in a language
through practical immersion from the other countries in the forum. In conclusion,
my expectations is strongly to learn from the program and back to contribute to my
community in the society.

12. Describe your contributions to Cambodia after returning from the program.

After I return from the program, I will open workshop for introducing to
descendants youth to know how to apply scholarship to study abroad, internship
and exchanging program which I can share my perspectives and views with peers
as well as decision making and inspiration the youths to create visions, develop
increased self-confidence and sense of self-reliance as a result of my exchange
experience. I will show them to build self-confidence, the responsibility, goal
setting, and how to do teamwork and collaboration to achieve one goal. I can bring
together the differences as well as the common interests and perspectives after
joining the program such as photography, arts and crafts, dance, theatre, sports, and
street art and so on. Furthermore, I can provide an advice, motivation, and
admonish them to strengthen their capacity. All in all, my ambition is going to see
youth people of all social and culture backgrounds participate fully in civic and
democratic life that can bring enthusiasm and vitality which can lead to new
discoveries and developments that can benefit society.
