Officers were requested
to serve a No Trespassing
notice to a married couple. The notice is for them
not to be on the property of
the complainant. The two
individuals were located
and signed the paperwork
without incident.
Officers were called regarding a complaint of a
threat to a juvenile. The
matter took place outside
of the Reed City Police Departments jurisdiction,
including the accused residence. Officers turned the
matter over to the Osceola
County Sheriff s Department.

Officers were dispatched to a local apartment complex regarding a
threat complaint. Officers
found it to be a verbal argument and a civil matter.
Case closed.
Officers were called to
local apartment complex
regarding a couple of delinquent juveniles and
vandalism. Officer spoke
with the two boys who admitted to the vandalism.
They have been spoken to
before regarding similar
situations in the recent
past; therefore a warrant
request was submitted to
the Prosecuting Attorneys
Office for review.
6/9/16
While performing a
traffic stop, officers found
the 31-year-old male driver
had no auto insurance and
three outstanding warrants out of a neighboring
county. He was taken into
custody and transported
to the Meceola Central Dispatch and turned over to
the Big Rapids Police Department.
Officers contacted the
Newaygo Central Dispatch
and arranged the arrest
and pick up a 37-year-old
male at his residence with
an outstanding warrant
out of Osceola County.

Evelyn M. Antrup
BIG LAKE Evelyn
M. Antrup, of Big Lake
near Sears, passed away
peacefully Sunday, June
12, 2016, at Spectrum
Health Reed City Hospital. She was 85.
Mrs. Antrup was born
January 5, 1931, on the
family farm in Evart
Township. She was a
1950 graduate of Evart
High School. Evelyn
married Jack Antrup
February 10, 1951, in Evart, and he preceded her
in death July 23, 2010.
She worked for AC Spark
Plug in Flint, retiring in
1983 when they moved to
the Evart area and started spending their winters in Florida. Mrs. Antrup enjoyed traveling
(not by air) and crocheting.
Evelyn is survived by
three sons: Brad (Mary)
Antrup of Evart, Craig
(Mari) Antrup of Ft. Myers, F lorida, Doug
(Tami) Antrup of Evart;
six grandchildren; four
g reat-g randchildren;
three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters:
Katherine Lauletta of
Florida, Marjorie Pratt
of Grand Rapids, Velma
Wirth of Hersey; and
one brother, Loren (Dor-
othy) McLachlan of
Swartz Creek.
She was preceded in
death by her parents; her
husband, Jack; one sister, Donna McKinstry;
and five brothers: Herman, Dale, Gerald, John,
and Wayne.
Funeral services for
Evelyn May Antrup are 1
p.m. Thursday, June 16,
2016, at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart with
Pastor Melodye SurgeonRider officiating. Visitation was Wednesday,
June 15, at the funeral
home. Mrs. Antrup will
be interred next to her
husband in Forest Hill
Cemetery, Evart, Michigan.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers
Association.
