LUCY BRACELET

SUPPLIES:
15/0 seed beads (SB15)
11/0 seed beads (SB11)
8/0 seed beads (SB8)
Silky beads (S)
Half Tila beads (HT) *
4mm druks or pearls (D)
Fireline or Nymo B thread, about 3 yards
2 jump rings
Clasp

* This pattern also works with Rulla beads and

CzechMates Bricks.

NOTE: Due to the manner in which this bracelet is made, it can be tricky to know which way to add
the Half Tila beads so that their tops are always facing the same way up as the bumps on the Silky
beads. If you're not fussy about having your Half Tilas right side up (curved side facing up and flat
side facing down), don't worry about it. If you are fussy about this, you should be able to figure out
which way to add them once you're familiar with the pattern. I've noticed that some of the Half Tila
colors are pretty much the same on both sides so this won't be an issue if you're using those colors.
1. Pick up two SB15 + one SB11 + one SB8 + one
SB11 + two SB15 + one S, going through the bottom
hole of the S with the bump side up. Slide the beads
down to the end of the thread, leaving enough of a tail
to weave in later.
NOTE: The Silky hole that you go through will alternate from the top to the bottom hole every other
time. If your thread is exiting through a top Half Tila bead, you should go through the top hole of the
Silky bead with the bump facing up. If your thread is exiting a bottom Half Tila, go through the
bottom hole of the Silky with the bump facing up.
2. Pick up one SB15 + one HT + one SB15 + one HT + one SB15. Go through the top hole of the S
then go through the seven seed beads, going toward the S, to complete the loop.

3. Go back around this circle of beads (S, SB15, HT, SB15, HT, SB15 and S) and tie a knot when
you reach the tail. Go on through the first two SB15 and the next SB11. Skip the SB8 and go
through the next SB11 and two SB15. Pop out the bead that you skipped.

4. Go back around this circle of beads two more times to

reinforce the clasp loop, skipping the SB8 one more time but go
through it the last time around. Exit through the bottom hole of
the S.
5. Go on through the next SB15, HT, SB15 and HT.

6. Pick up three SB15 and go through the other

hole of the HT that you are exiting. Push the three
SB15 so that they sit as neatly across the side of
the HT as possible.

7. Pick up one SB15 + one D + one SB15. Go through

the outer hole of the other HT.

8. Pick up three SB15 and go through the other hole of the HT that you
just exited.
9. Go on through the next SB15, HT, three SB15, HT, SB15 and D.
NOTE: Be careful not to go through the SB15 that is next to the Silky bead whenever you are
instructed to go through the three SB15 on the sides of the Half Tilas.
Go back around this circle of beads again to reinforce the stitching then exit through the D.

10. Pick up one SB15 + one HT + three

SB15. Go through the other hole of the
HT that you just picked up.

11. Pick up one SB15 + one HT +

three SB15. Go through the other
hole of the HT that you just added.

12. Pick up one SB15 and go through the D.

Go back around to reinforce this circle of
beads, exiting through the inner hole of the
HT as shown.

NOTE: As with the Silky beads, the Half Tila that you exit from in this step
will alternate every other time, from top to bottom.
13. Pick up one SB15 + one S + one SB15 + one
HT + one SB15 + one HT + one SB15. Go
through the other hole of the S.

REMINDER: The hole that you go through when you add the Silky beads will alternate from the top
to the bottom hole every other time. If your thread is exiting through a top Half Tila bead, you should
go through the top hole of the Silky bead with the bump facing up. If your thread is exiting a bottom
Half Tila, go through the bottom hole of the Silky with the bump facing up.
14. Pick up one SB15 and go through the nearest hole of the HT.

15. Go on through the SB15, HT, SB15 next to the S, S, SB15, HT, SB15, HT, SB15 and S.
16. Go on through the SB15, HT, SB15, HT, SB15 and S.
17. Go on through the SB15, HT, SB15 and HT.
18. Repeat Steps 6-17 for the length of the bracelet, but stop after Step 12 before you add the last
Silky bead. After completing Step 12 the final time, skip to Step 19 to add the last Silky bead and
the second clasp loop.

ADDING THE LAST SILKY BEAD AND THE CLASP LOOP

19. Pick up one SB15 + one S + two SB15 + one SB11 + one SB8 + one SB11 + two SB15. Go
through the other hole of the S.

20. Pick up one SB15 and go through the nearest hole of the HT.

21. Reinforce the clasp loop by weaving around through the SB15, HT, SB15, S, two SB15 and
SB11. Skip the SB8 and continue around through the SB11, two SB15, S, SB15 and HT. Go around
this same path again, skipping the SB8 once more. Go around one more time but go through the
SB8 this time.

22. Weave in the working and tail threads then cut them off. Insert a jump ring through the SB8 on
each end of the bracelet and attach your clasp to the jump rings.
