palmtreeleavesareswingingfromlefttoright.Thebreezewasaperfecttemperature,notto
hot,nottoocold.WhatanodddayinCaliforniaistheskygloomingofrainbowsbutthenfilling
upwithdark,graycloudspouringhardheavyrain.Theraindropspoundingfuriouslyontheroofs
andwindowsofhouses.Thebeachisempty,leftalonetothestormyweather.Thechildrenare
hiddenundertheirblankets,cuddlingtheirteddybears.Dogs,cats,andotherpets,trytofinda
safeandwarmplaceawayfromthehorriblerain.Youcanhearthunderfromafardistance.The
lightsflickereversoslightlyeverytimethethunderflashes.Afewhoursafterthehorrendous
storm,thesunisoutandbright.Everythingseemstobesostrange,yetpeacefulandquiethere
inEarth.
Thisisuponthetimeresearchersweretryingtobreakitdowntoonereasonwhyit
wasallsunshinesandrainbowsoneminutethenstormyandpouringrainthenext.Allofthe
researchershaddifferenttheoriestowhytheweatherwasoutofcontrol.Onetheorythatcaught
everyone'sattentionwascalledTheGodandGoddessesTheory.TheGodandGoddesses
TheorytalksabouttheeightgodsthattheGreekswereveryfamiliarwith,in500B.C.Thethree
mostpowerfulgodsthatgottobeknownwereSunsseus,Raindon,andPoseidon.Everysingle

GoddessoftheEarthandprophecy.Sheistheprimordialmotherandapersonificationof
MotherEarth.ShewasthedaughterofOdysseusandwasadoredbymany.
Sunsseuswas
seenasapersonwhoalwayslikedtogivebacktonatureandthosewhohelpedhimintimesof
need.
Hecreatedthegiftofhappiness
.Everyonearoundhimlovedhimandtreatedhimas
family.Inreturn,hewouldwelcomethemwithabrightsunnyskyinthemorningandthroughout
theday.Everysingletimethesunwouldcomeup,brightasever,Raindonwouldgetfurious
andmakeitstormyandshewouldflashthunder.Sunsseuswouldalwaystryandfightback
becausehedidntwantthecitizenstogetangrywithhimandstopbelievinginhim.Withoutthe
peoplebelievinginhim,orinanygodreally,hewouldlosehispower.Becauseofthis,allthe
godswerehavingagrandassembly.Theyhadplannedtocreateaspecificscheduleonwhen
theirnaturaldisasterswouldoccur.Almosteveryoneintheassemblyagreedontheschedule,
exceptRaindonandPoseidon.EveryonewasscaredofPoseidon:thegodofsea,earthquakes,
storms,andhorses.Hewasthesonof
Kronos,godoftime,andRhea,goddessoftheearth.
BrothertothegodsZeusandHades.
Poseidonwasknownforhismoodswings,violentrage
oneminute,calmthenextjustlikethewatershecontrolled.
Poseidoncreatedthegiftof
horses,includingzebras.
Surprisingly,quitealotofpeopleworshipedhimbecauseofhis
creativity.Raindon,alsoknownasthegoddessofthunderandrain,wassometimeslovedby
thenature.Shewastheyoungestdaughterof
Zeus,lordofthesky,rainbringer,andcloud
gatherer.
Raindonwasseenasanoutofcontrolperson.Shewasbarelylikehisfather,she
wouldalwaysgetintotroubleandtrytostormupdisasterswhenevershecould.
Raindon
createdthegiftofplantsandfruits.
Noonereallylikedbeingaroundherbecauseshewas
alwayslookingfortroublesoshewasalwaysalone.

DuringtheassemblyithadbeensaidthatSunsseuswasgoingtogetmoredaysto
commithisnaturaldisastersbecausethecitizenshadvotedforhim.RaindonandPoseidonhad
gottenextremelyfuriousoncetheyheardtheschedule.Theydidnotthinkitwasfairfor
Sunsseustogetmoretimethanthem.Fuming,theybothwenttoasafeplacetodiscusswhat
theyweregoingtodowithSunsseus.
WehavetogetridofSunsseus,hesgettingwaytoomuchrecognition.,statedPoseidon.
Iagree,butweneedtodoitsoonandquickly.,respondedRaindon.
Andwithlotsofthinkingandabsorbing,thetwogodswereontheirwaytostartagreatwarwith
Sunsseus.RaindonandPoseidonhadthoughtofamuchmoreimpactingideawhilethey
walkedbacktothepalace.Theyweregoingtocreateterrifyinganddifficultobstaclesfor
Sunsseustoovercomethroughouthisschedule.Whenthetwogodsgottothepalaceeveryone
hadsomehowfoundoutwhattheyweregoingtodotoSunsseus.Therumorshadreachedto
thegodofallgods,Zeus.ZeusthenplannedtohaveRaindonandPoseidonbothfight
Sunsseustoagreatwarthathadnoendingperiod.WithRaindonandPoseidonbothworking
togetherbecauseoftheirsimilarpowers,manythoughtSunsseuswastolose.
Onthefirstfewmonthsofbattleeverythingwasstill,therewasbarelyanybreezeblowing
theflowersandtreesaway.ThecitizenswerehopingSunsseuswouldsurvivethebattleand
comehomeahero.RaindonandPoseidonhadcombinedalloftheirstrengthandalmostkilled
Sunsseus.WhenRaindonandPoseidonwouldcreateastorm,Sunsseuswouldmakethe
weatherblazinghot.ThesetypeofthingswouldoccurbackandforthuntilonedaySunsseus
becamereallytiredandangrysodecidedtocreateameteorthatwouldkillPoseidonand
Raindon.Oncehehadcollectedenoughdustandparticlesfromasteroids,heputthemall
together.Hestartedtorubtheparticlesagainsttheairtocreatefriction.Onceallthemeteors

startedheatingup,hethrewittowardsRaindonandPoseidon.Whathedidntknowwasthata
meteorcoulddomoredamagethanhethought,killingeverysinglecitizenonEarth.

getscaredwhentheweatherisoutofcontrol.Theyfearthatthismayoccuragain,killingallof

thegreatmeteor.Theybelievethatthetwogodsareouttheresomewherenearthepalace
planningtheirgrandattacktokillSunsseusandgettherevengethey'relookingfor.
