What aspects make up a utopian country and why?

What factors make up a country in general?

How do these different factors affect the country?
What causes these different factors?
What geography affects a country?
What politics are there and how do they affect a country?
What kind of economic system would be beneficial for my country?
What are the imports, exports, production, trade, tourism, currency and tax?
What kind of judicial system is my country going to have to keep the society fair?
Where is my country located? Is it land-locked?
What are the natural resources?
What relief would affect the country?
What was the history?
What religion is my country?
What languages are spoken in my country?
What cuisine, sport, music and leisure activities does my country have?
What social benefits are my citizens going to have and why?
What is the tax?

Where will you gather the information? (e.g. library)

I will gather most of my information from the internet. I will look at a lot of websites. These
have to be educational websites, suited for students around my age so that the information wont

ion

be too difficult or complicated to understand.

How/where are you going to record any relevant information?

e.g.
describe
the
capture
sheet.
How will
it be laid
out? Will
you
include
your subquestions
? How
many
websites
will you
access
per subquestion?
Why?

A lot of the information we are going to need to complete this assessment will be taught it class.
This is why I will be writing down a lot of relevant information in my notebook. However, if I
need more information from the internet, then I will copy and paste relevant work onto a blogger
page. I will access roughly two websites per sub-question because I need to make sure that all
the information I use is based off of solid facts, that will make my country realistic.

different biomes. I did
the rainforest, desert and
mountains.

14.4.16

Take notes during class

about geography of a
country.

15.4.16

10.6.16

I think that my research method has worked really well and to my advantage because I managed
to collect all of the necessary information to create a country that is a country in my opinion.
However, I also had a different way of collecting information for this project that wasnt
mentioned above because I didnt anticipate it. During class, it turned out that when researching

s to
follow

different sections, like government systems, religions or judicial systems, we would divide all of
the different options amongst each other and then present our research and findings to the class.
This way everybody knows the knowledge about the different section options. Then the word
documents with all of the research from the other groups were posted on OneDrive, giving all of
us access to these documents and all of the information. Therefore I didnt have to research a lot
of the information anymore because we learned it during class from the presentations. I used
quite a lot of information from the Word Docs and then used their websites and works cited to
cite them. If I needed to clarify some things later on because the presentations didnt cover them,
I can easily just research it. This way I still accessed different sources of information to answer
the individual sub-questions.
I also managed everything really well time-wise. Every week when we talked about a new
section of the country, I would always start jotting down bullet points and transforming them
into writing for the blog. I would do this every week and work on it a bit almost every day.
Therefore, when the deadline approached, I had almost everything finished. I just had to polish
off some things on the blog. All in all, I think that my research method was very effective.
