Approach
Working on an interdisciplinary project that involves aspects from Chemical Process Systems and
Electrical Transmission Grids. The project aims to develop novel software tools to aid electrical grid
operators to monitor and analyse the real-time evolution of system stability across the network in
order to improve the security and reliability of the grid, by utilising data-driven statistical techniques
from the chemical process industry and adapting them to electrical systems.
Recipient of one of the prestigious Overseas Research Scholarships (ORS).
University College London
BEng (Hons)
1st Class Hons.
(Hons) in Electronic
Electronic and Electrical Engineering:
My final year thesis concerned the automated diagnosis and analysis of faults and disturbances in
chemical process plants, utilising connectivity information and aided by statistical quantitative
analysis.
Graduated on the Deans List and awarded the Goldsmid Medal for topping the Faculty of
Engineering with a three-year average of 95.8% and A grades in all units.
Awarded various other prizes including the IET Prize, the IEEE Penultimate Year Prize and Final
Year Project Prize (joint prize), and a Jackson Lewis Scholarship.
Principal author of one journal and two conference publications based on my final year thesis.
