Differentiation:
Within this lesson I incorporated the interactive white board, PowerPoint and their laptops. This provided students with
more visual stimulus and an interactive learning environment. In addition, they used their laptops to work on their
activities, this allowed students like Sophia and Jade to work through at their own pace. And use elements that worked
for them. For e.g. Jade highlighted the answers in colours rather than drawing a line.

Reflection
In reflection this lesson didnt go as well as I planned, I find it really challenging making activities for year 7. In addition,
simplifying content and providing different variations for C.L students. I talked for almost 40 minuets and didnt let the
students use their books more than Id like. Because of this, students didnt get the chance to write down their
definitions. For C.L students I need to improve on the PowerPoint, making it simpler and changing the activities for them.
As an extension activity I may want to include the last slide of my PowerPoint. Moreover, when asking students answers
look for those who wouldnt understand so I can find out how well the class understands.
I need to watch my time and transitioning cues, also classroom management skills.
