This lesson will teach children the importance of
eating healthy and will require them to pick a
favorite fruit and vegetable, explain why those
are their personal favorite and then state a fact
about what they have chosen. This lesson will
be done in groups of three and everyone in the
group must have something different, no one
should have the same fruit or vegetable as
someone else in their group. Students will work
together finding facts on the internet and
creating a short video, I will assist them with
this part to make sure everything is done
correctly as well as helping students with their
spelling or any other questions they might
have. The video must contain pictures of what
they have chosen; there should be a total of six.
This lesson will require students to use their
critical thinking skills and will teach them how
to work together also.

and use movie maker to create a short video
based on what they have researched. Teachers

short video) as well as their personal
favorite.

- A rubric evaluating their spelling, how they
communicated with their classmates, how
they followed rules, creativity and how
well they worked together and individually.
