BE A GOOD DOCTOR
I have been finished my study at Baiturrahmah University in medical
education and I get title doctor. Not for a long time, I continue my
profession as a doctor to work in a District Community Health Centre
located in a secluded areas where people's knowledge there are very low
on health. So I will do a health education to the people who live there. And
I will give free treatment for the poor people. In carrying out the
counseling I have to ask permission first to the head of community and
invite all communities to come together. Which one I will bring the topic is
about the importance of hygiene. The purpose to be hold the counseling is
people can improve their knowledge about hygiene and its impact on
health. For example from the dirty environment, we can get some
diseases such as diarrhea, intestinal and skin diseases caused by water
and air. But for this time there are many people dont care about hygiene
in their environment. Because of that there should be high realization
about hygiene. There are many things that we can do to keep hygiene,
one of that is to clean our environment from dirt and rubbish. By keep
hygiene, our environment will be healthy and we can feel comfortable.
As knowing in do my job, many new experiences that I get. Starting
from variety character of communities through the variety of diseases.
Initially I was quite tired with my work but over time it has been usual.
Seeing poor people's lives that make my conscience was touched. And I
set myself for not asking for payment to the patients who come to my
work practice. If the patients are willing to pay, please give just enough.
As a doctor I should not be discriminate (see status of whether the person
is rich or poor) and I must take an action fastly for the people who need
help. Because as I know the duty of a doctor is related to humanity is to
give the best service and make the patients happy with the service

provided and also not be burdened with the cost. Therefore I hope people
there can be helpful for what I give and make the most of it.
