FIELD TRIP

Theme of the Week: Adjectives & Writing Skills


Students have learned adjectives and reviewed writing skills. Students have
reviewed nouns and common/proper nouns to help them with their reading
skills.

OUR NEXT FIELD

you; this increases reading fluency and comprehension.

Math
Students have learned different types of graphs and
even sorted and graphed RAINBOW GOLDFISH! :)
Students have continued to practice number sense,
addition strategies, subtraction strategies, and adding 3
addends. They have also learned greater than, less
than, and equal to symbols.
Next week, they will learn/review 2D and 3D shapes
and their properties. They will continue to practice
addition and subtraction strategies, how to solve story
problems, write number sentences, label and draw pictures to show their work and explain their answers/thinking by writing complete sentences expressing a complete thought.
