Police Give Chase Outside School: Many of you will have seen a police officer pursuing a suspect
across the field to the rear of the school - at hometime yesterday.
The press office at West Midlands Police have shared the following information: thanks to the quickthinking member of the community who reported the suspicious behaviour of a man loitering at the top
of the field at 3:06pm, West Midlands Police were able to dispatch a police officer within minutes. The
man, who was already wanted on warrant for another matter, was arrested for public indecency
(officially called Outraging Public Decency) and taken into custody.
Thank you to all the parents who shared their concerns about the man (who you also saw hiding in the
bushes at the top of the field) as the hometime gates opened at 3:10pm, just a few minutes before the
suspect was apprehended. Thanks also to West Midlands Police for their speedy response.
Hello. Im Mrs Kelly and I have worked at
Leamore Primary School for over 26 years.
Previously I was a Nursery Nurse, but am now a
HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant).
I love travelling, watching football and walking
with my family during my spare time. Many of
you will know that my grown-up son and
daughter were pupils at Leamore when they
were children.
Over the next few months, I will be organising a
variety of fundraising activities so that we can
purchase a defibrillator for school. Mr Ellison has
agreed to shave off his beard if we sell plenty of
raffle tickets. Watch out for more information
about this event and others in future
newsletters. Having our own defibrillator at
school might save someones life.
