Lesson Plan: Fluoroscopy

Junior RTE

Prepared by: Lorraine Yost

Grade Level:

Lesson Overview: Fluoroscopy is common diagnostic equipment in diagnostic

radiology. It is utilized in hospital and outpatient settings. Mobile units, (C-arms) can
be used in intensive care units, and surgical suites. Fixed units can be found in
radiographic rooms for imaging real-time studies of gastric motility

about the similarities and
differences in other imaging
acquisition equipment. Discuss
the individual experience of the
students working with
fluoroscopic equipment.
6. Elicit performance: In lab ,

magnification.
7. Provide feedback: Immediate
feedback in lab, worksheet
