Since transportation and communications were the only two
sections which laid outside the periphery classification, we
will compare them now to a core country – France. This is
because the statistics were nice but counting the factor of
land mass and seeing the scarcity of the two items, it will
look horrible.
France’s landmass - 643,427 sq km
Sudan’s landmass - 2,505,810 sq km

Remember that Sudan is about 4 times as big as France.

Genocide
In 2004, both the United States Holocaust Museum and the U.S.
Government declared Darfur a Genocide Emergency. At a U.N.
commission, they agreed that there were violence in Darfur, but
they didn’t state that Darfur is in a genocide. 1
