Amendment No. 1 to Senate Bill No. 104.

Amend Senate Bill No. 104 as originally introduced:

Page 15, line 4 delete "and" and substitute "and personal services and"

AND

Insert new SECTIONS immediately following SECTION 25 to read as follows:

" SECTION 26. SPECIAL LANGUAGE. NOT TO BE INCORPORATED INTO THE ARKANSAS
CODE NOR PUBLISHED SEPARATELY AS SPECIAL, LOCAL AND TEMPORARY LAW. As
referenced in Section 3 of Act 1442 of 2009 and Section 3 of Act 1443 of
2009, the authorized funding for the University of Arkansas for construction,
equipping, improvements, maintenance, and operating expenses of the Pryor
Center shall instead be deemed for construction, equipping, improvements,
maintenance, and personal services and operating expenses of the Pryor
Center.

SECTION 27. Uncodified Section 1 of Act 869 of 2009 is amended to read as

follows:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION - DAVID AND BARBARA PRYOR CENTER FOR ORAL AND
VISUAL HISTORY. There is hereby appropriated, to the University of Arkansas,
to be payable from the General Improvement Fund or its successor fund or fund
accounts, the following:
(A) For construction, equipping, improvements, maintenance, and
personal services and operating expenses of the Pryor Center for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 2010, the sum of ................$600,000."

AND

Appropriately renumber the subsequent SECTION numbers.

AND

Page 31, line 35 delete " and 25" and substitute ", 25, 26, and 27"
