Good morning to the Headmaster, Encik Adam bin Haji Salim, teachers and fellow friends. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to speak to all of you. The topic of my speech is 'How Sports Create Healthy and Active Pupils'.

Sports activities involve the movements of all parts of the body. Excessive fats in the body can be burned and broken up when we take part in sports activities regularly.

When it comes to sports, there is no discrimination of race or gender. No matter who you are, you can take part in any of the activities. Racial harmony is created and promotedthrough these activities.

Sports can also help to overcome various social problems such as vandalism and drug addiction among the young people. Youths can occupy themselves with healthy sports acti vities during their leisure time. Our government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports has arranged many sports programmes for the benefit of the younger generation.

In conclusion, sports activities are important to us. They build a healthy body and mind.
