 PREFACE


BBA is stepping stone to management career. In order to achieve

practical, positive and concrete results the theoretical knowledge must be

supplemented with exposure to real environment.

Theoretical knowledge without practical knowledge is of little value.

Theoretical studies in classroom are not sufficient to understand the functioning

of complex and large sized organizations. Therefore, it becomes necessary to

undergo any project work. Practical supplements the theoretical studies i.e. it

covers what is left uncovered in classroom. It exposes a student to invaluable

treasures of experiences.

I took my project with HCL. Project work is part of circulation which

helps us to co-relate our theoretical concepts with practical experiences. The

topic that I have taken for project is ³• Study the Market Expansi n
HCL.´

has been suggested by Mr. •arun Kumar(Business Development Executive of

HCL). Accomplishment and achievement of goals is the major aim of any

organization and these goals are achieved by proper planning.
