Obama’s Health Care Overh
Stephen Lynch betrayed us
on health care!
d Voted to allow insurance companies to deny care for children with
pre-existing conditions and to kick people off health care when they get sick.
d Voted against covering 32 million uninsured people.
d Sided with Republicans like Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh instead of us.
We don’t have to settle for Stephen Lynch!
We  finally  have  a  choice:
MAC  D’ALESSANDRO
Meet Mac D’Alessandro. For years, he’s been one of Massachusetts’s most effective
behind-the-scenes advocates for new jobs and higher wages for workers.

At the Service Employees International Union, Mac worked hard to organize against insurance
companies and pass health care reform – only to watch Congressman Stephen Lynch betray us
by siding with Republicans and Big Insurance. Lynch was the only Democrat in Massachusetts to
vote against reform, which ended the practice of insurance companies denying care, or dropping
people when they get sick.1

That’s why Mac is running against Stephen Lynch. Because we need a Congressman who fights
for our jobs and our health – not one who sides with the Republicans and Big Insurance.

Lynch has betrayed us too many times.

Stephen Lynch betrayed us when he sided with insurance companies and Republicans to vote
against health care reform. That’s unacceptable.

And health care isn’t the only area where Lynch sides with Republicans over us. Time and again,
he’s voted to send billions to Iraq, while ignoring the need for jobs here at home.2 And he even
opposes a woman’s right to choose – joining Republicans to restrict women’s rights at every turn.3

Vote  Mac  D’Alessandro  to:

Jump start job creation by investing in renewable energy and focusing on small business expansion.
Defend health care reform against Republican efforts to repeal it.

Bring our troops home as soon and as safely as possible so we can focus on rebuilding our own economy.

Protect a woman’s right to choose.

On September 14th, let’s send Lynch a message:

It’s not OK to betray working families.
