    The young are the future of


    both the Church and Society.
    They, too, are the recipients of
    Christ’s call “Follow me.” What
    does it mean? It means that
    after you have encountered
    Christ, you must now turn to
    encounter others with Christ.
    You must become evangelizers
    yourselves, especially among
    your peers. Young,
    evangelizing the young. It is
    hoped that the young in the
    parishes will be involved in
    parish and transparochial
    apostolate. It is hoped that the
    young will also be given a
    place and a role in parish
    pastoral councils (PCP-II 651).
