01. Set PC to obtain IP address automatically (DHCP). Upon connecting PC to


a new Billion BiPAC modem using a straight cable, an IP address will be
obtained. Access modem using http://192.168.1.254.

02. Username: admin, Password: password

03. To configure the WAN Parameters, click on the “Interface Setup” - >
“Internet” at the top toolbar.

04. After entering all the relevant information as below, click the “SAVE” button:

05. To configure the LAN Parameters, click on the “Interface Setup” - > “LAN” at
the top toolbar.

06. Configure the LAN IP address according to ISP requirements and the
DHCP Scope. Click the “SAVE” button.

07. The configurations should be as below:

08. Note: In the case where the PC loses connectivity to the browser, enter the
IP address manually in the PC. Ensure that this IP is in the same subnet as
the Management IP

09. On the “Advanced Setup” - > “Firewall”, disable the firewall. Click “SAVE”

010. At the “Access Management” - > “ACL”, enable all traffic from the LAN and
from the LAN to pass through. Click “SAVE”

011. Leave the rest of the configuration at default.
