Using EndNote with CSA Illumina databases

Importing citations from CSA Illumina databases to EndNote:


y Two-step process

Save citations to a file Import file into EndNote using import filter

y Note: Different databases require different import

filters

First, save citations to a file


1. Perform search

2. Mark citations for import

3. Click on Save, Print, Email

4. Select Marked Records

5. Choose File format and click on Save

6. Select Save File and Click OK

You have now saved the citations to a file called csaresults.txt

Next, import citations into EndNote


1. Open EndNote Library 2. Click on File, then Import 3. New window will open 4. Locate saved file 5. Click on arrow next to Import Option. If the database you used is listed, click on it and skip to slide 7 6. If the database is not listed, click on Other Filters and go to slide 6

1. New window will open 2. Find the Import filter you need and click on it. 3. Note: You must choose the correct information provider 4. Then click on Choose
