Introdução: Diferença entre Simple Past e Present Perfect

-Quando usamos o Present Perfect , embora a ação tenha começado ou

sido realizada no passado, podemos ainda ver os resultados no presente.
Não apresenta data marcada para o fim.
Ex:
Peter quebrou os óculos – Os óculos estão quebrados.
Marry me contou as novidades – eu sei quais são as novidades.
Ela abriu a porta – A porta esta aberta.
A chuva parou – Não esta mais chovendo agora.
Eles fizeram a tarefa – A tarefa esta feita.

-Quando usamos o Simple Past, estamos falando de situações realizadas

no passado e que foram finalizadas num dado momento do passado.
EX:
Eu perdi minha bicicleta ontem.
Meu pai consertou meu computador semana passada.

Há quanto tempo você a conhece?

Eu a conheço há muito tempo.

*Nestes casos, as ações vem acontecendo há algum tempo.

Since: significa desde e é usado para dizer quando aquela situação

começou.
For: significa por e é usado para se dizer há quanto tempo tem ocorrido
determinada ação.

Already: já
-Martin já assistiu aquele filme. – Martin has already seen that film.
-Mãe, eu já fiz minha tarefa. Posso usar o computador agora? – Mom, I
have already done my homework. Can I use the computer now?

Yet: em frases negativas, significa ainda; em frases interrogativas,

significa já.
-Eu ainda não li aquele livro. – I haven’t read that book yet.
-Eles ainda não fizeram seus projetos. – They haven’t done their project
yet.
- Seu curso já começou? – Has your course started yet?
- Voce já tomou café da manhã? – Have you had breakfast yet?

Ever: significa alguma vez e é usado em perguntas.

-Você alguma vez jogou golf? – Have you ever played golf?
- Ela já dirigiu um caminhão? - Has she ever driven a truck?

Never: significa nunca. Só pode ser usada em afirmativas.

-Eu nunca andei numa bicicleta na minha vida – I have never ridden a
bicicle in my life.
-Ele nunca me deu flores – He has never given me flowers.
