Education in the UK

Both historically and currently there are

significant differences between the English
education system and English education
policy and the rest of the UK… While
Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are not
exempt from the pressures of globalisation,
they mediate those pressures differently
against other priorities and face different
social and economic problems.
