Agrarian Reform

Means the redistribution of lands regardless of crops or fruits produced, to


farmers and regular farm workers who are landless, Irrespective of tenurial
arangement,to include the totality of factors and support services designed to lift the
economic status of the beneficiaries and all other arrangements alternative to the physical
redistribution of lands,such as product or profit sharing,labor administration
And the distribution of shares of stock,which will allow beneficiaries to receive just share
of the fruits of the land they work.

Difference of .Agrarian Reform and Land Reform

Land Reform- a program which seeks to change landlord-tenant relationship with the end
in view of transferring the ownership and control of the
agricultural land to the actual tiller.

Agrarian Reform- broader than land reform.it is a land reform coupled with a package of
support services,price control,and government assistance on
matters related to legal aid,consultation,counseling,building of
projects which will contribute to the development and success of
agrarian reform, and such other support services which the government
may give from time to time,

Social Legislation
It is a legislation which is intended to uplift not only the
conditions of workers or employees as members of the community
and as human beings wit recognized dignity but also their families
who depend on them for support during their employment or even
after their employment if the same ceases as a result of
death,sickness,disability or any incapacity,permanent or
temporay,of the worker or employee
