1. QUALITY UNIT
1.1 Topic: Hypothermia
1.2 PIC: KJ Sinah
1.3 Data collection is still in progress and will be assessed later.

2. SCN
2.1 Lack of staffs, equipment and facilities.
2.2 Too small to cater the admission
2.3 Sister in charge to send proposal to JKNS on the statistics of total of
admission, no of beds available, BOR, no of staff available, etc as well as the
shortcomings encountered.

3. Level 1
3.1 Not enough bed for rooming in mothers.
3.2 Sister in charge to prepare the statistics for the past 6 months and coming 6
months and to analyze the data.

4. PHDU
4.1 Congested, lack of facilities and staff.
4.2 Arrangement to made between sister PHDU and sister CMW when CMW
moved to 3rd floor.

5. PICU
5.1 Two more beds to open for improving the standard and quality of service.
5.2 Awaiting for new staffs.

6. Suggestions
6.1 PHDU
6.1.1. Suggested PHDU to exchange place with level 1 (ward 10) SCN if
needed to put 10 beds.
6.2 Day care centre
6.2.1 Current PHDU to be converted into a day care centre
6.2.2 If suitable place is identified, to accommodate level1 (SCN) that is noted
into accreditation could have rectified.
6.2.3. All the short comings noted into accreditation should be rectified
6.2.4. Man power, equipment to be sort out by the administration
7. SCN
7.1 Proper modification needs to be done to make current SCN as proper level 3
as the current set up is not suitable.
7.2 Proposal sent
7.3 Awaiting reply from JKNS

8. Phototherapy unit
8.1 Extra 8 phototherapy unit: 6 in SCN, 2 in PICU
8.2 Sister to send proposal

9. NRP
9.1 NRP scheduled on 22-23/11/2010

10. Teaching program for paediatric department

10.1 Paediatric emergency 1 day course to be scheduled in December
10.2 Hospital CME

11. School visits

11.1 plan 3 visits next year
11.2 proposed places is Indrasabah

12. HO Log Book

12.1 To be updated every month
