Gaius Julius Caesar also known as Julius Caesar was a famed

military commander, and politician. Julius Caesar also helped turn


Republic to an Empire. Julius Caesar was always known to be a good
soldier in battle, but he was always a bad leader. Julius Caesar’s
arrogance is what proved to be what caused his fall. Although Julius
Caesar may have been hated by the upper class of Rome, the middle
class and the lower class saw Julius Caesar as a legend and probably
wanted his death avenged.
Julius Caesar is one of the most
influential figure in the Roman
Empire.
Though Julius Caesar had
been born to a patrician family,
the upper class of Rome he
wasn’t ever wealthy. Caesar
knew that f he wanted power
and wealth he would need to be
popular. He gained that by using
his charm and power and by the
end of his death had been
immensely popular. Julius
Caesar also meet his downfall
mainly to making the wrong
turns and being so arrogant,
although he did conquer an
immense amount of property for
Rome.
Caesar was hunger for
power. Thus, this meant that he
to fight. He had enemies, allies
and loyal is solders who made sure that he would be triumphant for
power. He also knew that he to things the hard way to be mighty.
Pompey, once was Caesar’s ally but then turned into an enemy, told
Caesar that he would have to come to the city without his army if he
wanted to be consul again. He knew that if he wanted to be consul
again and went to the city without his army, he would be arrested.
Once again he did it the hard. He entered Rome with his army This
started a civil war, and by the end of it Caesar was dictator for life.

Caesar was blind of many things and did not that this was a bad
move. He was blind to the fact about how much some people hated.
Because of his arrogance and bad leadership he destroyed the Roman
Republic and caused his death. In 44 B.C. he died, a conspiracy was
plotted against him. About 60 conspirators banded together to kill
Caesar and take away his power and might.
Even though Caesar had been a bad dictator he had succeeded
in turning Rome to an Empire. His actions and thoughts revolutionized
Rome forever. Hs influence probably was the greatest of Rome.
