A formidable crazy-lace agate teardrop is the focal piece of this simple, bright necklace.

materials
156 matte purple size 11° Czech seed beads
51 berry 5–7mm potato pearls
1 crazy-lace agate 35×50mm top-drilled flat teardrop
1 brown 23mm Greek ceramic ring
2 sterling silver 11mm puffed coins
1 sterling silver 12×17mm lotus-bud charm
1 sterling silver 15mm textured toggle clasp
5 sterling silver 2mm crimp tubes
3 sterling silver 3mm crimp covers
1 sterling silver 24-gauge 1 1⁄2" head pin
1 sterling silver 6mm jump ring
29" of .019 beading wire
1" of sterling silver 2mm round chain

1: Use one 5" piece of beading wire to string 8 seed beads, one end of the
chain, the agate teardrop, the other end of the chain, and 8 seed beads; center
the beads on the wire. Use both ends of the wire to string 1 crimp tube. Use one
end of the wire to string 22 seed beads, then place a bead stop on the end of
the wire; repeat with the other end of the wire. Use both ends of the wire
together to string the ceramic ring. Pass back through the crimp tube, snug the
beads to form 2 loops around the ring, then crimp the tube. Cover the tube with
1 crimp cover.
2: Use the head pin to string 1 pearl; form a wrapped loop to create a dangle.
Use the jump ring to attach the dangle and the lotus-bud charm to the piece of
chain.
3: Use 12" of wire to string 1 crimp tube, 22 seed beads, and the ceramic ring.
Pass back through the tube, snug the beads to form a loop, and crimp the tube.
Cover the tube with 1 crimp cover. String {1 seed bead and 1 pearl} three times.
String 1 seed bead and 1 puffed coin. String {1 seed bead and 1 pearl} twenty-two
times. String 1 crimp tube and one half of the clasp; pass back through the tube
and crimp. Repeat entire step to attach a second strand to the ceramic ring. Y
