PROFILE:

As my educational background demonstrates, my desire is to lead a career that is geared


toward the education of elementary students. I have a strong passion to educate, and a
commitment to student development. My ultimate goal is to not only provide students with a
thorough education and a memorable experience in my classroom, but to also help establish the
foundation necessary in becoming well-rounded citizens.

• SUNY at Plattsburgh (2006-2009)


Earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education : Education GPA - 3.64

• Clinton Community College (2004-2006)


Earned an Associates degree of Business Administration
 Twice named Scholar Athlete at Clinton Community College

Lake Placid Elementary School, 3rd Grade
Elizabethtown/Lewis Central School, 4th Grade
♦ Experienced the demands of being an efficient teacher
♦ Led classroom instruction for the majority of an 8 week placement
 Taught core curriculum, created and implemented thoughtful lessons in
all subjects, and provided additional instruction to students in need of
extra help
♦ Worked with students with varying achievement levels
 Differentiated lessons to suit the needs of all students
♦ Focused on integrating worldly concepts into all subject matter
 Included information on cultures throughout the United States and the
world

Block II Placement: Spring 2009


Peru Middle School, 6th Grade Mathematics
♦ Led classroom instruction on many occasions during a 7 week placement
♦ Created lesson plans while collaborating with PDE
 Developed an excellent rapport with the PDE which made for productive
planning periods
♦ differentiated instruction according to students’ varying background knowledge

Camp Counselor: Summer 2004-2006


Saranac Lake Youth Camp, Saranac Lake, New York
 Responsible for safety of a large number of youths ages 7-13
 Plan and implement a variety of daily activities
 Report any problems to the camp’s Director
 Set up camp before each day and clean up when finished
