“This isa scenario for Middle-Earth
characters of Lavel 1-10. was also intended
to be used for Basic DAD, but we have let out
al relevant boruses and woapans modifiers,

Tolkien's books, and an intaligant approach
tohistier games should find this a useful and
playable scenario. Some reacing through and
Preparation Is required, though, to make it

Introduction
‘You have just arrived atthe Inn and, having
been rested by the landlady and shown to
your rooms (Wf you are staying), you are
having a drink. Exactly why the players are
theres let to the GM's discretion.
The Inn of the Sixth Sense

‘something akin to a rogues gallery, and any
‘adventurers who happened along needed
sixth sense to survive. Ive never known so
‘many perception rolls to be made.
Ithas changed somewhat of lata, in that its
usual customers are now of 'Calenardhon’
(Rohan) blood. I's because of their presence
thatthe landlady changed the sign outside - @
white horse on a green field.
‘A|olly atmosphere can easily be achieved
while these warriors drink, as they are fond
lovers of song (though some are fighting
songs which vaguely resemble our rugby
songs), and will encourage singing when
Visitors grace their doorstep (Ores, Wargs,

The Haifings of Stoorwich (pronounced
Stor-tch) also contribute a few oftheir folk to
this haven who, besides being fond of the
food they serve here, will share thelr songs
with the Rohirrim. Visits from Dwarves are not
uncommon, though thay dont share the
‘same enthusiasm as Rohirim when it comes
to song and games,
The ln is located § miles south of the
Entwash at the point where it meets the
‘south-eastorn parimater of Fangorn Forest,
The Landlady, the widow Ga
lean establishiment- though she
flrt with the menfolk - and lives alone, save
her only son Gmaél (aged 5). Gielen - a
‘noted cook herselt- is now forced to employ
two cook/cleaners. This keops her free 10
tend the bar, entartain guests, ete.
The lower level of the Inn
A) The Reception Area - A humble
entrance for such a plush place, it is empty
‘except for a coat stand, and ‘is lluminated by
lanterns. The main door faces south, opposite
which is a largo staircase, leading up to the
guest rooms, and staff/landlady's living
Quarters.
