ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Alhamdulillah. All praise be to Allah SWT, the single owner of universe for blessing and
mercies. Peace be upon the great prophet Muhammad SAW that had led the human kind to the
prestigious civilization from the darkness in any side of life.

The title of the thesis is “Transformational Grammar Analysis of Adverbial Phrase used
in the Turne`s The King Bear (Syntactic Study)”. The thesis made to fulfill one of requirements
to get the degree in English education of STAIN Surakarta.

In this occasion, the writer thanks to all supporters who gives helps, especially to :

(1) Chief of STAIN Surakarta, who gives permission and facilities in the process f writing
this thesis;

(2) Head of English Letters Program, the academic consultant and thesis advisor, he is Drs.
Giyoto,M.Hum. who gives his valuable time, support, advise and suggestion;

(3) Head of library in STAIN Surakarta who gives information about the books that the
writer needs.

The writer prays for the attention, guidance and other helps of all who gave support and
contribution in order to they get benefits in kind from Allah SWT.

The writer realizes that the thesis is too simple and far from perfect. So she does hope some
corrections, suggestions and criticisms for improvement.
