Reading Log
Reading Log basics: Students must read a story out of the Cambridge Latin Course book (from the same stage which is being discussed in class) out loud to a parent, guardian, sibling, friend, or
pet in Latin and English. Students must do this five times over the course of a stage, and may use the same story each time or different stories, as long as they are from this stage.
Objectives: Students gain vocabulary both inductively and deductively in this exercise through repetition of vocabulary in context and by listing and redefining any vocabulary unknown. Students also practice
and perfect pronunciation of Latin and smooth reading of Latin.
