Renewable energy

Renewable  energy  is  the

energy  used  unlimitedly,  and

will  never  run  out.  It  comes

from natural resources such as

sunlight,  wind,  water,  organic

matter, and geothermal heat.

Types of clean energies

Biomass
● Biomass is a renewable energy source that use organic matter.

➢ Biofuel or alcohol made by fermenting the components

of plants and it is made mostly from sugar and

starch crops.
➢ Gas or biogass is the biological breakdown of organic
matter in the absence of oxygen

Geothermal

● Geothermal Energy is power extracted from heat

stored in the earth.

➢ Geothermal power station produces electricity.

Geothermal

Hydro
● Hydro is the power derived from the force of moving

water.

➢ Hydro-electric is generate electricity by Hydro

power plant using the gravitational force of

falling or flow water through Hydraulic turbine

and electrical generator.

Hydro

Wave
 Wave power uses the energy of waves to

produce electric generation, water desalination,

or the pumping of water.

Solar
● Solar Energy is use the sunlight to produce energy.

➢ Photo-voltaic module or panel is a group of

photo-voltaic cells “cadmium telluride or

silicon” that produce electricity.

➢ Heating water

Solar

Wind
● Wind Power is converting the energy of wind
into a useful form of energy.

➢ Electric energy using wind turbines,

➢ Mechanical power in wind mill,
➢ Pumping water with a wind pump.

Conclusion

● Saving the world is the objective of the use and

implementation of green energy sources.
● Saving our future generations have to be a
compromise by each human being to eradicate
use fossil fuel and coal which produce global
warming and greenhouse gases.
