1. SESSION OBJECTIVE
- To review profile mode.
- To improve the general cockpit management during hydraulic emergency drills.
- To improve the emergency descent entry techniques and associated procedures.

2. SESSION PROFICIENCY CRITERIA

- Good dual hydraulic systems failure procedure
- Good emergency descent procedure and handling.

3. PREPARATION
- Windshear detection, prevention and recovery
- Dual hydraulics system failure procedure
- Rapid decompression and emergency descent
- No flaps and no slats landing
- Crosswind landing

4. SESSION GUIDE
The exercises in this FFS session will be quite similar to what pilot trainees had practiced in FBS session C4, except this time with motion. Pilot trainees will
practice dual hydraulic systems failure, no flaps or no slats landing, rapid decompression and emergency descent, cabin equipment smoke.
The flight will depart from BKK with TOW 140.0 T and may be cleared on SID Grant 1 departure Gomes transition.
First exercise, hydraulic system malfunction, may be occurred during climb. Dual hydraulic systems failure situation will require the aircraft to divert to the
nearest suitable airport.
The second exercises will the emergency descent. Instructor will bring the aircraft up to around FL330 before simulate rapid decompression situation and let
pilot trainee practice emergency descent procedure. Then the aircraft will be brought back to FL330 again before simulate cabin fire and smoke and practice
another emergency descent.
The flight will then be radar vectored for ILS approach using raw data only (ILS approach without FD or HSI approach) with max crosswind.
