Comments:

-They do the signal with me during segmenting 

-Appropriate Supports: hand-over-hand for writing, picture supports for blending.

-I don’t always use the same signal in every activity. This may be a bit confusing for the students
because in the beginning I explain that they needed to “wait for my hand to go down,” but if I
don’t always use dropping of the hand as my signal then my rule doesn’t always apply.

-It might be more helpful if I sat between them during writing. That way I could provide
immediate help instead of having to walk around the table. Also, it would help me to see their
writing better.
