Epidemiology is the study of the distribution and determinants of health .. related states or events in specified populations, and the application of this study to the controlof health problems
ROLE OF NURSE IN EPIDEMIOLOGY
ADVOCATE
Facilitate patient's efforts in obtaining needed health services & in negotiating an appropriate care management plan.
Promote community awareness of significant health problems.

CAREGIVER
