Drawing Pencils: 2H, HB, 2B
Watercolor Pencils
Watercolor brushes
Container to hold water
Kneaded Eraser & White Rubber/Plastic Eraser
Tracing paper: 9"x12" pad or roll
Sketchbook: 9” x 12” Spiral Bound
Dish to hold wet floral oasis
Roll Viva Paper Towels

Filled Technical Pens (0 or 2x0 or smaller) or Micron Pens (.25 or .005)


or
Drawing Quill & bottle of Permanent Ink

Additional Items that we will discuss in the first class:


Masquepen: The Masquepen is an applicator of translucent masking fluid with a nylon 0.8 nib
Masking Fluid & Inexpensive brush (for detail work)
A small container (a film canister):
To hold a small amount of liquid dish detergent or ‘the Masters’ brush cleaner
1 - Sheet of your preferred watercolor paper:
We will be creating a paper swatch sampler to help with your paper choice before your purchase your paper.
Botanical Subject: You will be composing and creating
a unique portrait of the botanical subject of your choice.
