The Ward County Juvenile Detention


Center (WCJDC) provides area agencies,
parents, law enforcement officials, courts,
and others with a better and more
efficient avenue to help at risk youth while
protecting the community at large. Staff
consists of full and part time officers under
the direction of the department

Detention Center they are  Clergy
The following are things parents

 3 Pairs of Socks & Underwear
 Games Messages Only
 3 T-shirts
 Toiletries
 School Supplies
 Meals
 Prescribed Medication

Shirts cannot have buttons, zippers, Visitation


snaps, pockets, or logos. Bras Mail & Telephone
cannot have underwire.

Incoming Mail
 Immediate Family Only
No metal or glass is permitted in  Letters
 Non-Contact Visits
the Detention Center.  Unmusical Cards & Postcards
 Occur in Designated Visitation
 Photographs
Area
No perishable or non-perishable  Periodicals
items may be received while in
Schedule
detention. Outgoing Mail
 Tuesdays 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
 Issued 2 Stamps per Week
 Saturdays 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
 May be Scanned & Censored
