New Incoterms 2010 ALL

Dear Customers,
As of 1st of January 2011 the new Incoterms 2010 rules will come into
effect and will replace the old Incoterms 2000 regulation

Amongst others the following modifications are introduced:


► There will be 11 terms instead of 13
► New delivery rules become effective:
● DAP (Delivered at Place) : which should be used
in place of DAF, DES and DDU
● DAT (Delivered at terminal): which replaces DEQ.
These terms may will be applied to all agreed modes of transport.

► Delivered At Place DAP

Replaces: DAF - Delivered At Frontier, DES - Delivered Ex Ship


and DDU - Delivered, Duty Unpaid

Valid for all modes of transport. The seller delivers when the goods are
placed at the buyer´s disposal on the arriving means of transport ready
for unloading at the named place of destination.

The seller bears all risks involved in bringing the goods to the named place.
DAP requires the seller to clear the goods for export, where applicable.
However the seller has no obligation to clear the goods for import, pay
any import duty or carry out any import customs formalities

► Delivered At Terminal DAT

Replaces: DEQ - Delivered Ex Quay

Valid for all modes of transport. The seller delivers when the goods, once
unloaded from the arriving means of transport, are placed at the disposal
of the buyer at a named terminal at the named port or place of destination.
“Terminal” includes any place, whether covered or not, such as a quay,
warehouse, container yard etc.

The seller bears all risks involved in bringing the goods to and unloading cargo-partner group

the seller to clear the goods for export, where applicable. However the
