Module 2
Day 1: Esthetic Smile Design
Esthetics in dentistry, team approach, patient
preparation and communication, study models
and wax mockups.
Smile design - factors effecting smile design
planning, balancing functional harmony and
esthetics.
Hands-on: On study models and wax
mockups for different situations, fabrication of
putty index.
Day 2: Adhesion including basics of
etching , bonding , restoration of class III, IV,
V cavities, posterior esthetic restorations,
diastema closure, indirect composites
Demonstration on patient of different
techniques with hands-on on extracted teeth
Module 3
Day 1: Color in dentistry - color and its
perception, contrast effects, shade guide
systems, impact of material and material
science on color, clinical applications
All ceramic crowns - material science,
history, metal ceramics vs. all ceramics,
advantages/ disadvantages, indications/contra
indications, tooth preparation - points to
remember, case reports.
Hands-on: All ceramic crown preparation on
typhodonts.
Day2: Porcelain laminates in dentistry -
Determining the essentials, Pre-Operative
evaluation(analyzing the smile), treatment
planning , composite mock-up, Aesthetic Pre-
recontouring (APR), Aesthetic Pre-evaluative
temporaries(APT's), Actual material
preparation (AMP), preparation for
laminates, finishing the preparation, shade
selection, impression making, provisionals,
laboratory communication, try-in, bonding,
treating the interior PLV surface, adhesive
application, finishing and polishing,
postoperative longevity, case reports.
Demonstration: Preparation for porcelain
laminate on patient.
Hands on: Preparation on typhodont teeth.

Module 4
Day1: Composite Laminates - Direct and
indirect, principles and step by step
procedure of layering in composites.
Bleaching of vital teeth, different methods,
materials and techniques, walking bleach.
Fibrous splints and its clinical applications.
Hands on: Layering technique for
fabrication of composite laminates on
patient and extracted teeth.
Demonstration of fabrication of
bleaching trays.
Day 2: Management of
multilated vital teeth - Pulpal
considerations stressed pulp
syndrome, periodontal
considerations, crown lengthening
and orthodontic extrusion, removal
of caries and pervios restoration and revaluation of
damage, Additional retention features by pins etc
for vital teeth.
Hands on : Placement of pins in the vital tooth,
placement of matrix for large restoration.
Restoration of endodontically treated teeth
Needs and guidelines for restoration, additional
retention means like coronal radicular space,
parapulpar pins, various post system like custom cast
post and cores, dentatus screw post, parapost, fibre
and carbon post etc., which core material to use i.e.
silver amalgam, composites or glass ionomers, special
cases, cementation procedure, core build up,
preparation and impression procedure for custom
cast post and cores.
Hands on: placement of different types of posts
on extracted teeth.
Module 5
Full mouth rehabilitation - Step by step
including hands-on on articutators.
Module 6
Day1: Implant supported prosthesis,
Lab communication - Basics of
packaging and transport of models,
instructions.
Day 2: Interdisciplinary management in
fixed prosthodontics, Post operative
longevity and maintenance of FPD,
Patient education, Failures in fixed
prosthodontics, Failures in esthetic
dentistry.
Examination(MCQ's) and Certification
Course Fee
INR 49,900/- Payable in two equal intallments by DD Payable to “Dentis-Tree Pvt. Ltd” at Chandigarh

Course Duration
Six modules of two days each (weekend) once in a month for 6 months.

Certification
An attractive certificate with a golden seal will be given to the participants on successful completion of the course in a glittering
ceremony.

Terms & Conditions

1. Dentis-Tree reserves the right to cancel/reschedule courses due to uncontrolled factors.
2. In case of cancellation of a course by Dentis-Tree, the course fees will be refunded to the registered participants.
3. A registered participant can cancel his/her registration 7 days before the course. In this case 50% of the course fees will be refunded.
Refund of the course fees is not allowed with less than 7 days before the start of the course.
4. Dentis-Tree has the right to make changes in the course curriculum/Faculty with prior notice.
5. All disputes regarding Dentis-Tree will be subjected to the Panchkula Jurisdiction only.
