Oral Presentation Assignment

Form into groups of 5-7 members for this assignment. CR for each class to compile a
list of the groups and their topics and hand over to me (or email) if we have a holiday
intervening.

Choose a suitable topic of general interest. Conduct necessary research. Remember to

cite your sources on the last slide of your powerpoint and report. Create a
POWERPOINT and one page HANDOUT for the audience. Also prepare and submit
a brief typed, 4-5 A4 pages, Font size 12 Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing
REPORT at the time of your presentation.

Each group must make an oral presentation 20-25 minutes (depending on group size)
with 5 minutes allocated for Q&A.

Presentations will be timed and the group will be penalized for going over the allotted
time. Please rehearse your presentation and time yourself to make sure you can
present in the desired time range.

Once the presentation date and time have been finalized, there will be no changes as
we do not have enough time remaining before the end of the semester. If you fail to
present your oral assignment on the scheduled date, you will receive no credit for the
assignment. Attendance is required at all oral presentation sessions.

Evaluation will be based on the rubric put up with this document.
