BIOGRAPHY
 Caroline Waters is currently the Director, People
& Policy, BT, a position she has held since
January 2003.

She has previously held the roles as


 Director of Employment Policy,
 HR Strategy Partner for the BT Group,

 HR Manager BT Europe and


 Director HR Programmes and HQ Services.
HER CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES
INCLUDE:
 chair of the Employers’ Forum for Belief,
 chair of the Employers’ for Carers Leadership
Group,
 chair of Employers’ 4 Fathers,
 director of the Stitching Permits Board,
 director and trustee of the Employers’ Forum
on Age and
 president of the BT International Twinning
Federation.

 She was awarded HR director of the year in
the HR excellence awards 2009
 She is one of the pioneers in the adoption of

CAROLINE’S BUSINESS IDEOLOGY:
 Working smarter and more flexibly is essential
during difficult times.

recruitment and retraining later,

 The company's youngest employee is 16 and oldest
75, marking an age gap of nearly 60 years.
