Thank you all so much for helping out in reading scripture during
this Christmas program. Similar to last year we will have the
choir and the children from the Children’s Ministry singing with
scripture reading in-between. As last year, while the
choir/children are singing, the next scripture readers will take to
the podium and prepare themselves. After the singers have
seated themselves then you can read from the NIV (the bibles in
the pews are NIV and it will add to the flow of the reading). For
example, as the children are singing Silent Night, Randy and
Preston will take to the podium (each will be placed on opposite
sides of the stage), and after the singers are done and seated
Randy will start and then Preston will read next. After Randy and
Preston sit down the choir will stand and sing next. Please take
your time in emphasizing the important sections of your
particular passage so that we are all encouraged by you.
Remember to relax and make eye contact with those you are
reading to. Thanks again!
