Proposed Title BOILER FEEDWATER TREATMENT AT THE THERMODYNAMIC LAB

Sinopsis: Terangkan pernyataan masalah, metodologi kajian dan jangkaan keputusan.

Synopsis Explain problem statement, research methodology and expected results.

Maintaining good feedwater is an important and fundamental of any steam

turbine power plant. A plant that maintains good feedwater achieves the
following three benifits which are help to ensure maximum life out of its boilers,
steam turbines, condenser and pumps, reduce maintenance expences and
maintain optimal thermal performance.

This item are the most problematic to boilers and steam turbines. They are
calcium(Ca), Magnesium(Mg), sillica(SiO2), Sodium(Na), Chlorida(Cl), Iron(Fe),
Oil, Oxygen(O2), and Carbon dioxide(CO2) which can be very corrosive and
aggresive on mild steel.

Aerification, coagulation, filtration and softening are four process to maintained

the proper water condition so that low maintenance expences, optimal thermal
performance and long lasting life of boiler can be achieved.

Objective  To study the boiler feedwater treatment
 To investigate the matter that influence the water condition in the boiler
feedwater

Skop Kajian:
Scope of Study  To understand the process in boiler feedwater treatment
 To determine the solution for the effect of poor water treatment
 To maintain the propper water condition in the boiler feedwater
