POSITION: TRAINING MANAGER - HOTELS
DEPARTMENT: HR/TRAINING
REPORTS TO: HR MANAGER / TRAINING HEAD
Training Manager, it plays a crucial role in the training efforts of the Hotel Property

Responsible for identifying the training needs of the department and creating schedules for the sa

Develop long-term training strategy including ongoing needs assessment and feedback from qual
Identify “Core Competencies” of workforce

Designing and Developing Training and Development Programs based on both the organization’s
Evaluating training and development programs
Considering the costs of planned programs and keeping within budgets
Identify the training needs of Staff, Supervisor and Executives to enhance knowledge, skills and m
Conduct induction or orientation and other suitable training programmes for all new employees.
Organize safety, fire prevention and control programmes for all new employees
Organize different programmes for staff on methods, procedures and systems in guest handling, s
Housekeeping, Front Office etc
Organize periodic Supervisory / Executive Development Programmes
Co-ordinate with departmental heads on various training programmes
Having adequate information, so as to be able to recommend external training programmes
Maintain a Library / Reading Room properly and collection of Slides, Films, CDs/DVDs, Documents,
To consciously and constantly develop better training material so as to make the training sessions
Send monthly MIS Report to the MD’s Office & HR Department
Generating and maintaining the training summary reports on monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and y
