POSTER PRESENTATION

For Centers who have been invited to attend the eSkwela Close-Out Activity:

Your center is required to prepare a poster presentation which will highlight the his-
tory/background and various activities of your center. The poster will be displayed
during the Close-Out Activity of your cluster.

What to show in the poster...

On Center Management

1. Center set-up
• listing of local partners and supporters as well as in what way did they sup-
port the eSkwela set-up process
• photos of activities with Center partners/supporters
2. Center operations and sustainability
• processes employed to follow-through on the commitment of the local part-
ners
• center statistics
• center-specific challenges, lessons learned, good practices and innovations

On the Use of the eSkwela Instructional Model

1. Documentation (photos, etc) of learner orientation, learning sessions, special activi-


ties organized by your center
2. Listing of center-specific challenges, lessons learned, good practices and innova-
tions
3. Screen shots of sample forum threads and learner projects
4. One or two quotations / feedback from a learner (please limit to 3 lines)

Guidelines
• size: at least as big as a whole manila paper
• the text should be readable
• the photos/graphics should be clear
• choice of tarpaulin, cartolina, manila paper, or other materials - if tarpaulin is not
used, please cover the poster in plastic to avoid getting smudged
• You center may opt to submit a short (1 to 3 minutes) video clip to be shown dur-
ing breaks.
• You may opt to bring the poster home to display in your center or give it to the
eSkwela Project Team for possible display during the Turnover Ceremonies in April
2011 which will include a press conference.
